Mannnnn, where’s the Garf proposal?? Only reason I skimmed through was for the inevitable offer of Girgensons and a 2nd rounder for Patches
What a waste of a skim

Actually would be a good fit for the sabres if they can get patches to agree to an extension |

Sabres are out of trade ammo, unless Montreal would consider a 1st rounder + McCabe as a starting point. |

Buffalo is not in a win now mode. They were just last place... and they don’t have Matthews... patches make no senses. On the other hand, he is, regardless of what Garth says (with no support to back up the argument) in a steep decline. So maybe passing on him is a good thing. |

I couldn't agree more with the first point. Any player that's going into their 30s is a mistake for the Sabres currently. The top 5 teams in the East are WAY too good. Tampa, Washington, Toronto, Boston and Pittsburgh. Buffalo needs more pieces before they're even close to being a contender. But, I'm talking young core players. |

He needs to escape Montreal, so going to Buffalo would be better? Yeah, right! |

Some should learn the meaning of facetiousness. It's stunning how many have taken this "proposal" seriously. |

You're right. Montreal should add another first and a third |

He'd score 2 goals and add 3 assists in 6 SCF games |
